Biography

Amos Sussigan (b. 1989 in Switzerland) is a talented new face in the entertainment industry who feels equally at home in the roles of visual designer, director in various (short) film genres, art director, radio personality, and upcoming writer. Amos has always been a restless, creative soul, never interested in the obvious or the easily-had. A challenge is what he has always been after. How else can one explain a 17-year-old’s need to open up his own design studio for marketing campaigns and art direction geared towards the teenage market?

Amos completed his diploma in Languages (Italian, English, Spanish, French, and German) while learning the ropes in the ‘real world’ at jobs in retail and the restaurant/bar scene. Work at a TV channel soon followed, and Amos still collaborates with two of Switzerland’s national radio stations, Rete 1 and Rete 3, on a weekly basis.

In 2009, Amos enrolled at Woodbury University, Los Angeles, majoring in Animation and specializing in ShowBusiness. During his first semester, thanks to his previous experience directing commercials and short movies, he created the Official Commercial for the Media Culture and Design Faculty, which was well-received and is currently serving as a springboard into the movie industry.

After his first year of college, Amos received an Academic Excellence Award as Best First-Year Student, and during the second year, he won Tom Baron Business Plan contest’s first place. He is currently working on several design and media projects at mOcean, a set-up specializing in entertainment, advertising, marketing, branding, and production and servicing bigname customers such as Disney, Pixar, and Warner Brothers.
